Quick Reminders:

1) Weather Looks GREAT! However, dehydration and sunburn are likely problems. Push water all weekend. Have lots of water at any event you run, and encourage each Patrol to drink plenty upon arrival.

2) Service Project - We will be spreading wood chips on an area recently ravaged due to downed pine trees. Each Troop should bring 2 of the following four items: spade shovel, pitchfork, rake or wheelbarrow. Each Troop MUST provide 2 older Scouts to assist with the project, which will start about 4:15pm Saturday afternoon.

3) We are NOT using CB's this year, but rather Motorola FM radios. If you have one or more, please bring it/them! We'll standardize a frequency setting at the PLC. Make sure it's charged, make sure your Name, Troop Number and Telephone Number are marked on each one you bring.

4) If your event instructions included a special scoresheet (Caber Toss, Egg Toss, etc.), your Troop is responsible for xeroxing 24 copies to run your event. Don't Forget!

5) Please have your Patrol Leaders read the Patrol Leader's Guide BEFORE coming to the PLC! Please have your Staff Members read the Patrol Leader's and Staff Member's Guides BEFORE coming to the PLC!

6) All Patrols need a Patrol cheer at the Obstacle Course.

7) PLEASE READ THE GUIDE, THOROUGHLY, THIS WEEK! Pay particular attention to the Troop "To Bring" List.

8) Most Salient Problems Last and previous Years (Please Don't Repeat!)

* NO CASH at the Registration; Checks Only.
* NO CHANGES in Staff Food and T-Shirt Orders.
* Bring a FLAG STAND for your Troop Flag.
* Your Flag Retirement Ceremony Scout MUST be in perfect, full Uniform, and head down to the campfire circle for practice when the horn sounds for the closing flag ceremony on the main field.
* With the exception of the Troop 167 bus, NO PARKING IN THE CAMPING AREAS. We will have adequate parking elsewhere.
* No rough-housing games.
* The Projectoree T-Shirts Must Be Worn ALL DAY (not just the morning!
* If your Troop plans on showing up late, please ensure that your PLC Scouts are present at the PLC - starts 9:00 pm sharp!

9) You are welcome and encouraged to invite District personnel associated with your Unit.

10) The Gates of Camp Wilson should be open for business 7am Friday morning.

See you Friday. Pray for Good Weather!

- Dr. Bob
