Projectoree 2002
Newsletter #4, 2/6/2002

Greetings to All.

This is your formal reminder concerning the Projectoree Planning Meeting #1, to be held THIS SUNDAY NIGHT, February 10th, at St. Agnes' Parish Center, 1914 N. Randolph St., Arlington. As previously noted, the meeting will start at 7:30 sharp, and you must have your representatives present and seated at that time (and preferably by 7:15), on penalty of immediate termination. If you need directions, email or call me by no later than 5:30pm Sunday night (after that I will be at the Parish Center, setting up). Again, if you don't know where St. Agnes is, don't assume it's easy to find, because it won't be on a rainy Sunday night: Ask me for directions.

As previously detailed, four Units were terminated for failure to show last year, and one was saved from a similar fate only because a 12 year old Scout showed up. Because this year's Projectoree mailings are going out to a much smaller group, each Unit's representatives SHOULD CONTACT EACH OTHER to firmly establish who is coming Sunday night. People are sick with this terrible 3-week flu that's been going around, others are out of town on business, others are swamped at work (or home), and others didn't mark it on their calendars and now have conflicts. Whatever. Don't assume someone else is coming if you're not; CONFIRM IT.

SIGNUPS TO DATE - I can accept signups through Sunday noon; after that, please hold til the meeting. Note that we are hurting badly on pre-signups for Administrative Duties and Cleanup Duties.
