Chain Bridge Projectoree 99
Newsletter #10 - 4/4/99

Greetings to All.

As mentioned in the earlier mass email today, this is the final Troop assignments for all tasks associated with the Projectoree. All attending Troops have at least one assigned task; most Troops have multiple assignments.

Only two tasks are unassigned - keeping the Obstacle Course open, and running the stove use and safety course, both as late afternoon activities during Projectoree "B." This requires 4 Senior Scouts and 1 - 2 Adults/each for the time period 4:15 to about 5:45; if anyone can handle this, please contact me asap. If we have no volunteers, we will cancel both activities, leaving only the Scoutmaster Chariot Race, Soccer Game and Ultimate Frisbee Game as late afternoon activities for Projectoree "B."

Projectoree "A" is now three weeks away, while "B" is four weeks away. Please use this remaining time wisely in preparing to complete your assignments. Do not forget to coordinate with your counterparts in the "other" Projectoree; this is very critical for the Troops attending Projectoree "B," since everything will be new and also since you need Senior Scout assistance from the "A" Troops during "B."

Finally, please note your primary resource - the Projectoree subpage on the Troop 111 website. Many people have been calling or emailing me for information which is listed on the website - in some cases several times on several different subpages. I will once again stress the need to "read the instructions" - and once again stress that (unlike a Camporee) you cannot "throw things together" just before the event; the Projectorees require active planning and practice in order to succeed.

Items still needed (if have, please drop off at this Thursday's Scout Roundtable - Thanks!)

Campaign Signs,
American Flags for retirement,
Information on hay bales,
Information on tall cardboard boxes.
