Eagle Scout
Geoff Evans
On 6 March 1994, while serving as the Troop 111's Senior
Patrol Leader, Geoff Evans
completed his long journey, becoming the
Troop's 45th Eagle Scout [and the first from SM Bob's original (1989)
class of recruits.] The Board of Review was most impressed with Geoff's
credentials, which (in line with our Troop philosophy) were light-years
ahead of the "usual" BSA minimum. Take a deep breath!

Geoff's Eagle Project - Installed an anti-bike barrier at the
mid-point trailhead of the White Oak Way trail (behind the tennis
courts) at Potomac Overlook Park, plus repaired a small footbridge
across a feeder creek to Donaldson Run, and improved a short section of
trail between the trailhead and the footbridge. This was a nice piece
of work, and dramatically improved a badly eroded (but still heavily
used) trailhead area.
Return to 111
Eagles.
