Remember to bring all requested forms, including your first $250 payment made out to Troop 111, and listing "Philmont 2000" on the memo line. One parent must attend.

Sunday, March 5th - General Crew Meeting #2, 7pm - 9:30pm, St. Agnes Parish Center; the agenda will include Itinerary Selection and the first gear shakedown - each Scout should bring his entire assembled kit for review. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend.
NOTE: In addition, your third $250 payment is due at this meeting.
Saturday, March 11th - 6:30am - 11:30pm - 50/20 Hike, W&OD Trail and/or Marine Corps Marathon Route; Scouts expected to hike as a Crew for a minimum of 15 miles (about 4 hours); after that, it's optional Scout-by-Scout as to whether to continue. In the event of heavy rain, this event will be postponed to the following Saturday, March 18th.
Sunday, April 30th - 50 Miler Trail Service Project, Tree replanting for Fairfax Re-Leaf at the I-395/Shirlington and I-395/King Street Exits
Saturday/Sunday, May 20th/21st - Shakedown Hike #1, C&O Canal, or equivalent; fourth and final $250 payment due.
Friday/Sunday, June 2nd/4th - Shakedown Hike #2, Robertson's Mountain, or equivalent, Shenandoah National Park.)
Sunday, June 11th - General Crew Meeting #3, 7pm - 9:00pm, St. Agnes Parish Center; agenda will include the second shakedown of equipment, the election of the crew chiefs, and final review of "crew gear." Parents welcome to attend.
Sunday, June 25th - Final Crew Gear Selection, Gear Loading, 7-8p.m., at St. Agnes

Monday, June 26th - Date, Location and Time TBA - Departure for Colorado
Thursday, June 29th - ca. 9:30am - Arrive at Philmont
Tuesday, July 11th - 7am - Depart Philmont, Arrive Washington, Time TBA (may change!)
As has been beaten to death already, all events: (A) Are Mandatory; and (B) May be adjusted to accommodate massive conflicts with Sports, School or Troop events.
