Dr. Bob's Philmont Diary
Crew 704-H2, 1998

Introduction

I had the distinct pleasure of traveling to the Philmont Scout Reservation in Cimarron, New Mexico with Troop 111's Crew 704-H2 in the summer of 1998. The links below lead to the day-by-day accounts of our activities in Colorado before the trek as well as our time on the Ranch. Dr. Bob relates our experience on the Ranch in a way that is engaging as well as educational; many crews say that a read through one of Dr. Bob's diaries is an excellent way to find out what a trek on the Ranch is really like. I hope you enjoy reading about our experience on the Ranch as much as I had in hiking it.

Yours in Scouting, Brad Jones
